Sign up for a round of golf in New Orleans during the 2010 Joint MABWA & SEBWA Convention & Trade Show. This is a great opportunity for camaraderie and networking, plus a little light competition among friends and colleagues.

Lakewood Golf Club has recently undergone a $12 million renovation and features over 7,000 championship yards meandering amongst 100-year-old Cypress and Live Oak trees. Award winning golf course architect Ron Carl has preserved the character of the original course while upgrading the 18-hole, par 72 course with modernized fairways, tee boxes and greens. An excellent example is their 430-yard 18th hole named “Fire In The Hole” as a tribute to the New Orleans Firefighters. This hole features sand traps in the shape of flames set in red sand, with a greenside bunker that literally comes right up out of the water. The course also offers a short game facility, which is widely acclaimed and used by PGA Tour Professionals including Masters Champions Mike Weir and Zach Johnson.

Located just minutes from downtown New Orleans, the return trip across the Mississippi River Bridge offers the most picturesque view of the New Orleans skyline. You won’t be sorry you signed up for this fun event!!!
